YouCount’s research, engineering, and health relationships include the National Science Foundation, the University of British Columbia, and the Canadian Space Agency. That last point is especially important in consumer health technology. BodyCheck is a wellness and performance platform. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose conditions, and is not a replacement for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

The product goal is to make sophisticated engineering feel simple to the user. A BodyCheck test takes about two minutes. Behind that routine is a controlled-light reader, machine vision, sensors, analytics, and a 12-marker configuration organized around Exercise & Recovery, Hydration, and Meals & Nutrition.
BodyCheck is engineered for precision and tested to CLSI standards. As the platform develops, YouCount will continue to use research and engineering relationships to challenge the system, improve repeatability, and keep product claims grounded in evidence.
